The expertise exists. Discovery is fragmented.
The UK safeguarding field includes independent specialists, consultants, trainers, advisers, organisations and specialist service providers. Many build valuable visibility through LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals and their own websites.
For a school, college, nursery, education organisation, business or other organisation seeking support, however, those separate channels do not form one obvious specialist search environment. Finding the right provider for a particular requirement can therefore be difficult.
The project challengeDesign a calm, professional structure around who provides safeguarding expertise, what they specialise in and how an organisation can find and contact an appropriate provider.
02 / The response
A sector-specific route from requirement to provider.
The platform organises specialist information for purposeful discovery. Its design avoids fear-based language and treats both providers and searching organisations as professional users.
- 01
Structured provider directory
Safeguarding expertise is represented through database-backed provider information and specialist service categories rather than an unstructured list of names.
- 02
Search and public profiles
Searchable information and public provider profiles help organisations move from a particular requirement towards relevant expertise.
- 03
Provider registration and accounts
Registration and authenticated account journeys give providers a route into the specialist environment and support management of their presence.
- 04
Provider dashboards
Dashboard functionality turns the directory into an ongoing platform, enabling provider-side workflows beyond a conventional public website.
- 05
Membership and Stripe payments
Membership levels and Stripe payment functionality support the platform’s provider participation model.
- 06
Account, enquiry and administration
Account management, password recovery, enquiry/contact journeys and administrative capability support practical day-to-day operation.
03 / Factual transformation

A fragmented sector has a dedicated discovery structure.
Safeguarding Link does not claim that professional networks are ineffective. It adds a purpose-built route for organisations that want to search within a safeguarding-specific context.
The factual transformation is from dispersed provider information to a database-backed platform that explains expertise consistently and supports provider discovery.
